Sony Ericsson Aino is a slider phone. It has dimensions of 104 mm x 50 mm x 15.5 mm and has a weight of 134 g. The handset has a 3” TFT capacitive touchscreen. The display supports up to 16M colors and has a resolution of 240 x 432 pixels. The device has accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and limited touchscreen functionality. It has vibration mode and supports down-loadable polyphonic, MP3 and AAC ringtones. The mobile phone has speakerphone and stereo FM radio with RDS. It has integrated stereo speakers and built-in music player that can play MP3, AAC and MPEG4 file formats.

Sony Ericsson Aino has an 8.1 mega pixels camera with a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. The camera has inbuilt auto-focus and LED flash. It can capture still images and shoot video. The features of the camera are touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, red-eye reduction, smart contrast, image stabilizer and videocalling. Photocall facility is available. The phonebook can store 1000 entries. The handset has an internal memory of 55 MB. It has a microSD memory card slot expandable up to 16 GB. The device comes with an 8 GB memory card.

The handset has a WAP 2.0 browser to access the internet. It has games and supports motion-based and down-loadable games. The device has global positioning system with A-GPS support. It has wayfinder navigator. The features are remote play for playstation 3, Google maps, picture editor, picture blogging, YouTube and facebook applications, organizer, voice memo, SensMe and T9. This Sony Ericsson mobile phone is powered by a standard Li-Po battery. The battery has 2G stand-by time of up to 380 hours and 3G stand-by time of up to 367 hours. It has 2G talk time of up to 13 hours and 3G talk time of up to 4 hours 30 minutes. Sony Ericsson Aino has a music play time of up to 31 hours. It comes in black and white colors.
